Harrogate Garden Design offers one-hour exterior landscape consultations through to the full design service including mood boards, 3D walk-through visuals, and scale construction plans.

Design services available:

Bronze Garden Design Consultation and Plans:

Initial consultation via video call followed by site visit. Using garden styles and biophilic design experience we will gather ideas based on your requirements, then provide recommended 2D layout plans for your landscapers to work from.

What you get:

2D Layout Concept Plans and Inspiration Mood Boards

• Garden consultation 
• Approximate measurements/survey of the garden
• PDF mood board detailing design ideas and concepts. Planting styles and material suggestions.
• 2D concept layout plan 
• Basic plans for contractor quotations
• Ongoing support if required

Prices from £1,100 depending on the size / scope of the design.

10% date holder deposit required up front to secure your design slot.

Silver Garden Design Consultation :

All of the Bronze package above plus:

• 3D Walkthrough Visuals – an exciting part of the design process – you get to see exactly what your garden will look  in 3D like before a stone is lifted
• Budget Advice
• Materials consultation

Prices from £1,600  depending on the size / scope of the garden.

10% date holder deposit required up front to secure your design slot.

Gold Garden Design Consultation :

The whole shebang. Everything you will need to create the garden of your dreams right through to the start of construction.

What you get:

• A free initial call or meeting to decide if you want to go ahead, followed by an accurate quotation.
• Once the quote is agreed 10%  date holder deposit is due to secure the slot. 40% of the fee is then due a week before work commences. We then undertake a full client requirement briefing, site survey including measurements, evaluation of the garden, and site conditions.
• Design consultation covering concept plans, draft layout, and mood board. You can make up to three changes at this stage, a further consultation can take place if needed.
• Once a concept/layout is agreed upon, 3D walkthrough visuals are produced to give you a realistic look and feel of your finished garden.
• Extensive 2D construction drawings to keep and one set for the contractor to obtain an accurate landscaping quote. (The remainder of the design fee is then due)

Prices from £2,300 (or 10% of your overall budget – depending on the size/scope of the project)

*Topographical Surveys may be required for large/sloping gardens.

Complex garden designs can require project oversight to ensure the construction sticks to plan and you achieve the desired look.

Project oversight – Charged at an hourly rate.

Planting Plan Design

Priced separately to the design process – this can be quoted once a design is complete based on the approx sqm of planting area.
